We build the system your business needs, then look after it
Biissa Makan, Biissa Jualan and the other apps on this page are our own work. Besides systems like these, we also make mobile apps and AI.
- apps we built and still run ourselves
- 6
- outlets of one F&B group moved onto Makan
- 40
- our cashier app, on the App Store and Google Play
- iOS + Android
- automated test files to check our apps and their code
- 4,000+
What we build
We already do all of this for our own apps.
Systems for everyday work
For the cashier and orders, stock, bookkeeping, bookings, projects or the school office. Your team opens it in a web browser.
Examples: Makan, Jualan, Ngantor, Sekolah and Bangun.
Mobile apps
Apps for Android phones and iPhones. Many updates reach people's phones without waiting for the App Store or Google Play to approve a new version.
Example: our cashier app.
AI for your business
AI that uses your own business data. The AI waiter in Makan talks with guests. It is built to check the menu before it answers, and to call a staff member when it is not sure. A restaurant can also let an AI assistant read its sales, menu, orders and stock. The assistant can read that data but cannot change it.
Another example: the AI in Bangun that estimates a project's final cost.
See the AI waiterPayments, messages and shipping
Our apps take payment by QRIS, virtual account, e-wallet and card, through payment gateways and directly with a bank. We can connect your system the same way. They also send and receive messages with customers, check courier rates and track parcels.
Examples: payments in Biissa's apps, customer messages in Makan, courier rates in Jualan.
Secure cloud servers
We can set up and look after the servers your system runs on, with a secure cloud provider.
Example: the servers behind our own apps.
Maintenance
A system in daily use still needs looking after. We fix problems when they come up and add features as your business grows.
Example: every app in the portfolio below.
Portfolio
We still run every app below. Open any of them and see for yourself.

Ways to work with us
Pick one, or combine them later as your needs grow.
By project
Good when you already know what you want built. Once you approve our proposal, we build it in stages until your team can start using it.
An engineer in your team (FDE)
An engineer from Biissa works inside your team, sees your daily work and your data up close, and builds what you need.
Long-term partnership
Once the system is in use, we keep taking care of it. We already know how it works, so you don't have to explain everything from the start again.
How a project runs
This is how it usually goes after you first get in touch.
- 1
First conversation
Reach us on WhatsApp or by email. We get to know how your business runs and what you already use.
- 2
Written proposal
We write down what we will build, in what stages, by when and at roughly what cost. Work starts once you agree.
- 3
Building in stages
We work a piece at a time, and you can try the result of each stage yourself.
- 4
Into daily use
Each stage runs on a test copy first. Only then does it go onto the system your team uses every day.
- 5
Staying with you
We can keep fixing and improving the system together with your team.
Why Biissa
What we do behind the scenes on our own apps.
Web updates go to a test copy first
If an update fails on the test copy, it goes no further, and the system people are using is left as it was.
Database layout changes on record
In Makan, Jualan and Sekolah, whenever we change the way the data is stored, that change is now recorded as its own dated step. If something needs checking later, we can see what changed and when.
Written guides
More than 40 written guides explain how our apps are run, which tasks happen automatically, and how to undo a change if something goes wrong. That knowledge is not stuck in one person's head.
Error monitoring
Errors in Makan are recorded in a monitoring system we run ourselves, so we can work out what happened.
Server setup written down
The setup of our cloud servers, domains and file storage is written as code and kept with our apps, so our team can read how it is all set up.
Automated tests
More than 4,000 automated test files sit alongside our code. Each one is a small program we can run to check part of an app or the code behind it.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a system cost?
It depends on what needs to be built and how many stages it takes. After our first conversation, we send a written proposal with the work, the schedule and an estimated cost for you to look over.
How long does it take?
The schedule goes in our written proposal. We split the work into parts, so you can start using the first part before the rest is finished.
Can you keep developing a system we already have, for example one built by another vendor?
Yes. First we look at the code, the data and how your team uses the system. Then we tell you what is worth keeping and what we would replace.
Do you look after the system once it is built?
Yes, through a long-term partnership. If something goes wrong or you need a new feature, message us on WhatsApp or by email and we take it from there.
Can an engineer from Biissa work inside our team?
Yes, that is what we call an FDE. Tell us about your team and the work first, and we will suggest whether an FDE or working by project suits you better.
Tell us what you need
A few lines is enough. If you can, include:
- What the system needs to do
- Who will use it
- What you use today, such as Excel, a notebook or another app
- When you need it ready
